Plot: "Det. Eric Matthews has caught the Jigsaw killer and is looking to put a stop to his current game, already in progress. That game includes a house where unlucky participants are imprisoned and forced to off each other in brutal ways (similar to how Smith's character was forced to kill an innocent man to save her own life in the first film) while a series of video cameras capture the killings. What Matthews doesn't realize is that the game is unfolding right in front of him...."

  • Was shot in 25 days.

  • The advertising posters for the film had to be recalled on orders from the MPAA because the two severed fingers forming the "II" in the posters did not meet guidelines for film advertising. The new poster makes it more obscure. Also, posters had listed the film as being rated R when at the time the film still hadn't gone before the MPAA for a rating.

I have to disagree with most of you guys. I didn't enjoy saw 2 so much, especially the end. That girl and Jigsaw got together after what he put her through in the first one? She would really not only forgive him but love him too? And even if she did forgive him, Jigsaw was a genius who wouldn't want anything to do with that crackhead. Atleast thats what I think. And I also don't think she has the intelligence or suffistication to continue what he started. It just doesn't seem believable. The kid in the safe part was unexpected but that girl ruined it for me. At the ending of Saw 1, I was a bit excited and enjoyed the movie very much. Then only a few weeks later I hear Saw 2 is coming out. I hoped they didn't rush this script with the large profits to produce an eye candy film rather than another classic. In my opinion the first one was a classic and the second was eye candy with a little twist. I also hoped that Saw 1 and 2 were both thought of befor 1 was even released. I just think that they should have waited a little longer and finished their thoughts. Maybe they should have let me write the ending. LOL Just kidding. But, I'm serious. I honestly don't know if I will even watch saw 3. I'm writing movies now myself and I love a good ending. And to the writers.....What happened with that ending? I can't even see that last twist looking good on paper. Please take your time on this next one and good luck with making her become a genius.

Saw 2 was amazing. I got into a phase were i actually couldn't stop watching it. It's really good. My favourite trap on it was the needle pit. It has to be. That is just brill! The worst trap on their ( the goriest) was probably the hand trap. It's disgusting but a good trap for saw! Saw 1 was very good. The bit were lawrence cut off his foot, brilliant acting and make up. Never expected it was the guy in the middle of the room. Never expected the twist in saw 2 to end up like that. Not in a million years. So amazing endings and twists for both of them and I cant wait what saw III has got for us!
